US’ Domino’s Pizza to open 40 restaurants in Russia in 2017

MOSCOW, Aug 30 (PRIME) -- The U.S.’ Domino’s Pizza plans to open around 40 restaurants in Russia in 2017, DP Russia CEO Guvenc Donmez said at a news conference on Wednesday.

The company has already opened 28 restaurants this year boosting its chain in the country to 100 restaurants, he said. The firm plans to open 40–60 restaurants annually starting with next year and raise its Russian chain to 1,500 restaurants in the long term, he added.

The company’s sales in Russia almost doubled on the year to 701 million rubles in January–March, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) soared to 58.5 million rubles, Donmez said.
